The founder of SOORYA EXPORTS is Late Mr.P.Muthukumar. He has been running coir business since 1979. He started a
fibre industry, Jyothi fibres, as his first venture. He designed and produced all the machineries for this industry(Decendicator,
decadicator and fibre baling unit).

In 1988, he decided to start coir curling rope industry. Again, he designed and produced the machinery for the company. Laxmi
curlo industry was found. He also manufactured the machinery and sold it to some of competitors in the industry.

SOORYA EXPORTS, a company that has been producing coir pith (also known as coco peat, coir peat, coir dust and coco soil)
since 1999 and exporting to various countries around the world amongst these The Netherlands, South Korea, Dubai, Spain and
Malaysia. We are an innovative company with an aim for perfection and can deliver coir pith according to your specifications
and in the desired quantities.

The company is now run by Mrs. Muthukumar. She is considered as one of the leading business enterpreneur in Tenkasi, Tamil
nadu. She has won awards from the Tamil nadu government for the same.
